Success comes naturally to you now

In today’s business world, more and more individuals find themselves in a work from home environment - where work time is eating away their family time. It seems the real price tag for this is stress. And many find themselves wondering if stress relief is just an illusion.

  • Move to another “state”. There are four different states to our existance. Spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. If you find yourself consumed by stress, literally move - become physical. Do not become paralyzed by stress. Once you become physical, your emotions and your mind will follow the actions.
  • Cry. Everyone does. It’s a built in pressure release valve. Release the negativity through tears. After you have had a cry try to lighten up and smile more. We all know laughter reduces stress and people around you will be more pleasant when they see you being friendly or smiling
  • Get in shape and stay there. The more physically fit you are, the less susceptable to stress you will be. Go for a walk, embrace the day and breathe correctly. Most people breath with the upper part of their lungs and never use the lower part. You can gain more vitality and energy when you use the breath correctly. Try to practise your breathing in a place without too much pollution or you will be breathing in toxins
  • Get personal in business. Don’t disguise your true self for business. Reveal your sense of humor. Share your personal experiences. Your clients will feel a sense of connection to you. It’s hard to be nasty or say no when a personal connection is formed. Listen to people around you and rather than getting upset when others disagree with you, listen actively and work on the areas of disagreement and you will find a mutable solution
  • Start the day right. Visualize your day as you wish for it to unfold each morning when you rise. By connecting the mind, body and spirit every morning and achieving a state of calmness, you can easily bypass the stumbling blocks that cause stress throughout the day. Think about meditation and taking the time out to sit quietly for a few minutes and listen to the silence
  • Embrace the Law of Attraction. The universal Law of Attraction exists, just as the universal Law of Gravity exists. By focusing on what it is that you want, you expand your reality. Focused energy forces your wants to become your reality. See it, believe it - and then receive it. Dont spend time with negative people. They only bring you down. Choose to spend your time with positive people who have a positive attitude to their work and life
  • Improve your time management skills and make sure you write them down. Making lists is good and ticking off things you have done at the end of the day is even better. Learn to say No when people demand too much from you. Reflect, and stop setting yourself unrealistic goals for yourself
  • Adjust your environment and make your place of work a nicer place to be. Bring in a few plants to add to the environment and see how the energy changes. Plants will increase the energy in a room and they also give you something nice to look at
  • Find a mentor or a friend to talk to. Having someone there to talk to about things, whether business or personal can really help. Developing a good relationship with someone and knowing that youcan talk to them about your worries can dramatically reduce your stress levels. If you cant find someone, then start a diary and write your experiences down. Instead of going out for that last minute after work drink, go home find a nice place to sit and relax, and write down the things that are worrying you. Afterwards you will feel a lot better
